An Education Designed for Your Goals
For over twenty-five years, Gnomon has educated many of the world’s best digital artists. Called “the MIT of visual effects” by Fast Company magazine, Gnomon offers a variety of educational options to help students reach their goals in the entertainment industry, with certificate and degree programs, and over 100 avocational individual courses for portfolio development or professional enrichment.
4 Year, Full-time Program
Undergraduate BFA
A Bachelor of Fine Arts program that covers multiple aspects of a 3D generalist skillset, providing an in-depth understanding of the 3D production pipeline, visual arts, and general education studies.
2-Year, Full-time Program
Certificate in Digital Production for Entertainment
An intensive 2-year certificate program, built on a 3D generalist foundation, offering emphasized studies in Game Art, Modeling and Texturing, Visual Effects Animation, or Character and Creature Animation.
10-week, On-Campus & Online
Individual Courses
Standalone avocational courses covering a wide variety of subjects within film, game, and visual effects production. Experience the same innovative training and instruction as our program courses both on-campus or online.
Portfolio Development, Avocational
Foundation in Art & Design
Up to one year of fundamental art education for individuals 18 and over looking to become better artists and build a well-rounded portfolio.
