Overview

Brian J. Pohl has over 25 years of experience as a visual effects artist, previs supervisor, and software industry consultant. A veteran of George Lucas’ previs team and Industrial Light and Magic’s art department, Pohl is credited for creating or supervising previs on over 27 feature films throughout his career. Pohl has also served as a subject matter expert in the software development industry and as an educator where he has taught animation, previs and cinematography at multiple educational institutions including the spearheading of the Epic Game’s Unreal Fellowship where Pohl was its academic Dean and program manager.
