Gnomon Recognized as Unreal Authorized Training Center for 2025

Gnomon is proud to announce that we have once again been recognized as an Unreal Authorized Training Center for the 2025 academic year.

This designation, awarded by Epic Games, highlights Gnomon’s continued commitment to providing professional, high-quality training in Unreal Engine to students and industry professionals alike.

The Unreal Training Partner program was first introduced by Epic Games in 2019, with the goal of establishing a global network of institutions capable of delivering exceptional instruction in Unreal Engine. At the time, Epic called out the growing demand for Unreal Engine skills, projected to grow by 119% over the next decade. To meet this need, Epic sought to partner with “ambitious trainers and training centers across the globe to teach world-class professionals.”

“Gnomon has always worked closely with Epic’s education team, as they are aware of our standing in the industry and importance as a leader in providing professional high-level in-depth training,” Anton Napierala, Games Education Lead at Gnomon, said. “Our classes provide this, not only to our program students but also our extension population, which frequently is made up of industry professionals looking to keep their skills current.”

Gnomon’s Unreal Engine curriculum spans a wide range of topics, from game content creation to virtual production techniques—an area of rapid growth that continues to shape the future of digital content creation.

“In addition to our wide array of classes that include Unreal Engine, we’ve offered special events and presentations, both in partnership with Epic and other game studios and filmmakers who create day-in and day-out in Unreal,” Napierala added.

Gnomon’s relationship with Epic Games predates the creation of the Authorized Training Center program. When Epic first launched the initiative in 2019, Gnomon was one of the first schools they approached.

“We were a school that Epic already knew they wanted to work with,” Napierala shared. “We had history with them prior to the creation of the program, and we had alumni already working at Epic. We submitted a list of our classes that include Unreal Engine training to their people, and we were included.”

Since then, Gnomon has maintained an ongoing dialogue with Epic’s education team, regularly updating them on new courses, curriculum changes, and the evolving needs of students and professionals alike.

“I think the most important part about Gnomon being an Unreal partner for students is that they can be assured our school has been verified by Epic as an authority in educating students on their software,” Napierala said. “In addition, Gnomon’s education team has access to the education team at Epic and all of the resources they have to offer.”

Gnomon is honored to continue our collaboration with Epic Games and to once again be recognized as an Unreal Authorized Training Center. As Unreal Engine continues to power innovation across games, film, television, and beyond, we remain committed to delivering the highest quality Unreal training available anywhere.
