Calling all aspiring creature and character artists! Join us on Friday, March 3rd for a panel discussion featuring some of the most talented creature and character artists in the industry!

Ashley Stegon (Cold Iron Studios), Colleen Larson (Naughty Dog), Amy Sharpe (Riot Games), and Amanda Irani (Santa Monica Studio) will share their personal journeys from being students to becoming successful professionals working on incredible projects such as The Last of Us Part IIGod of War Ragnarök, and League of Legends.

During this campus event, you'll have the opportunity to hear our panelists talk about early artistic inspirations, what it was like getting their first job, and how they approach character design. They will also discuss how they stay inspired and motivated, balance the creative process with deadlines, and how to adjust when career goals change. 

Attendees will get to see some of their personal and professional artwork from released projects and be able to ask questions during our Q&A segment. RSVP for an exciting and informative panel discussion and discover how to trust the process and pave your own path to success in the world of creature and character art!

Senior Character Artist

Amy is a freelance Character Artist who has worked in game cinematics and collectibles for studios like Blur, Riot Games, and Axis. Her range of work includes hyper realism like Call of Duty, to hand-painted stylized characters for League of Legends cinematics. She specializes in modeling, sculpture, texturing, and look development for high-resolution assets, as well as sculpting for collectible statues.

Character Artist

Amanda is a Character Artist working for Santa Monica Studio since the start of 2021. Her journey began with drawing and painting as a hobby. She eventually decided to pursue classical training by studying figurative art at the Watts Atelier of the Arts and contributed some concept art to a variety of small projects before moving to 3D and specializing in the 3D game character model creation process. Afterward, she worked indie as a 3D Character Artist before joining Santa Monica Studio.
