We are excited to welcome Dane to our "Instructor Spotlight" series - a bi-weekly live stream event where you'll meet some of our amazing instructors and get a glimpse into their lives as artists and educators.

Gnomon's instructors are working professionals that bring unique experiences and perspectives into the classroom, and Dane is no exception! He has successfully delivered hundreds of studio and independent projects ranging from live-action and animated features to television series and innovative media techniques and platforms. As a Gnomon instructor, Dane teaches students about incorporating the virtual reality toolset for previsualization, virtual cameras, and real-time lighting integration.

During this interview, we will talk with Dane about his journey as an artist, what it is like to innovate in the world of visual effects, and what you can expect when learning from him at Gnomon. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask your questions in the chat!

Immediately following the interview, our host Adam Hartel will share a brief informational session about the Gnomon student experience and the various careers for artists within the Visual Effects, Animation, and Games industries.

Events with closed captioning are available via Gnomon's Facebook Live page.

Gnomon's full-time programs and 10-week individual courses are designed to develop well-rounded artists that are skilled in the diverse disciplines within 3D production. For those who reside outside of the US, virtual classroom-style online courses are also available.
