We are excited to welcome Stefan Kang, a versatile artist whose career journey led him to his current role as Art Director at FutureDeluxe.
During this event, Stefan will offer insights into his creative process, discussing how he uses tools such as Houdini, Redshift, Nuke, and After Effects to create his beautiful work. Over the years, Stefan has contributed to high-profile commercial campaigns for industry giants such as Google, Apple, Nike, BMW, Kia, and more. Attendees will get to hear about the creative path that took him from Gnomon student to VFX Artist to Art Director!
Stefan will also delve into the design process at FutureDeluxe, highlighting how he draws inspiration from exploration and constantly pushes the boundaries of his tools and methods.

Art Director
Stefan Kang is a Los Angeles-based designer and art director at Future Deluxe, originally from Malaysia. Over the past few years, his creative journey has been marked by contributions to high-profile commercial campaigns for companies such as Google, Apple, Nike, BMW, Kia, and many others. Stefan is a versatile generalist armed with a toolkit that includes Houdini, Nuke, and After Effects. His diverse skill set encompasses 2D/3D animation, dynamic simulation, and design. His passion lies in crafting abstract designs, where he continually seeks innovative ways to weave compelling narratives. Stefan graduated from Gnomon - School of VFX, Games & Animation in 2018.
