Drawing from their work on titles such as Diablo IV, Apex Legends, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Black Mirror, our panelists will offer a comprehensive insight into the game art and VFX development pipeline.

Attendees will get an in-depth look into different stages of the production process, from concept art and 3D modeling, to rigging, technical art, and animation. The panelists will share practical tips on enhancing pipeline efficiency, offer strategies for effective collaboration, and discuss their artistic journeys, including how they entered the industry and the projects that shaped their careers.
Topics include streamlining concept art, key technical considerations for 3D character creation, efficient rigging in the VFX pipeline, the role of a graphics technical artist in game development, and steps to becoming a successful game animator. Whether you’re an aspiring artist or a seasoned professional, this event is designed to help you optimize your workflow and elevate your projects.

Concept Artist - Respawn Entertainment
Yinan Wei is a concept artist specializing in characters and props with several years of experience in the video game industry. He is currently working at Respawn Entertainment on Apex Legends.
Vicky Zi Wang
3D Animator - Respawn Entertainment
Vicky Wang finished masters degree at USC in Animation & Digital Arts. She has been in the industry for 3 years and worked on tv, short film and game animation. She specializes in 3D character animation. Vicky is one of the animators on Apex Legends at Respawn Entertainment.
Skye (Shuqi) Yin
Technical Artist, Graphics - Blizzard Entertainment
Skye Yin is a Graphic Technical Artist at Blizzard Entertainment. After graduating from the Computer Arts from School of Visual Arts in 2022, Skye joined the Diablo VI team, where they focus on shaders, performance optimization, and Houdini workflows. Prior to Blizzard, Skye worked at Netease on unannounced mobile games.
Linyao (Freya) Li
3D Character Artist - Blizzard Entertainment
Linyao (Freya) is a 3D character artist on the Diablo IV team at Blizzard Entertainment. With several years of experience in the gaming and advertising industries, she specializes in the intricate creation of heroes, creatures, monsters, armors, weapons, hair, and costumes, bringing life and depth to every character she works on.
Fred (Zhehao) Qiao
Lead Rigger - Ingenuity Studios
Fred Qiao is an accomplished rigger and technical animator with a career spanning from 2021 to the present. He began his journey at Psyop, where he worked from 2021 to 2022, contributing his expertise to high-profile projects such as Apex Legends Seasonal launch trailers, Clash of Clans trailers, and commercials for major brands like Coca-Cola, HP, and Chick-fil-A. In 2022, Fred transitioned to Ingenuity Studios, where he currently serves as the lead rigger. At Ingenuity, he has played a pivotal role in the creation of several acclaimed TV series and films, including One Piece, Black Mirror The Nun 2, and The Watchers. Fred’s work is characterized by his deep technical knowledge, creativity, and a relentless drive for innovation in the field of animation and rigging.
