Overview
Mariam Hamed is an FX artist based in Los Angeles. She recently worked on Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and Disney's Oscars-winning feature Encanto. In addition, she also worked on the Netflix series Love, Death & Robots and Magic: The Gathering - Kaldheim Cinematic. She found her greatest successes have been achieved through attention to story and detail while being able to create a range of effects work from photorealistic to stylized (everything from fire and destruction to simulating small dust hits and large-scale water).
