Overview

Ken Chiang is a Principal Tech Artist with more than 12 years of experience in the entertainment industry. He has worked on major motion pictures doing previsualization, rigging, and set extensions.

Working on Apex Legends, Ken excelled in all forms of technical art. He made nearly the full facial rigging pipeline from season 1-9. He built most characters and streamlined the pipeline, avoiding repetitive tasks. He also built mesh support/rigging/weapons/animation tools/heirlooms for most of the first few season's characters as a one-man team. He demonstrated leadership by supervising most of the mid-to-senior level riggers/tech artists until around season 19. He also has presented talks on Facial Rigging at GDC.
