Jason Dowd
Overview
Jason Dowd is a Fine Artist and Background Painter with 20 years of experience. Graduating with distinction from Art Center College of Design, Jason worked for The Walt Disney Company as an animator and Background Painter.
Jason has shown with many prominent galleries including John Pence (San Francisco), Waterhouse (Santa Barbara), Altermann (New York/Santa Fe), and most recently received an Award of Excellence for "Silent Lions, The Fox Theater" at the 2011 Oil Painters of America Western Regional Exhibition, hosted by Lee Youngman Galleries. He has also exhibited at the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach. He continues to teach at the Laguna College of Art and Design.
